Most of the large enterprises invest significant amount in telecommunications and are looking at optimizing their investments. The company plans to offer optimization services through a framework and in partnership with some select service providers. It has over 300 active customers.

Highlighting the news areas and market issues, the Senior Vice- president of Global Marketing and Alliances, Intelligroup, Mr Alok Pant, said that the enterprise technology market continues to buoyant where companies are investing either in SAP or Oracle replacing hybrid systems. This is more so in the Indian context where enterprises are now going global.

Indian enterprises are investing significantly in technology either directly or by opting for hosted applications through software as a service (SAAS) model, which fits well for small and medium sized companies. Mr Pant said SAP indicated that they have over 1,000 customers in India and plan to take this up to 2,000.
