Technology
In-market sales analytics is integrated
into existing ERP system for products, customers,
Bill of Material and primary sales. It also
loads data from existing Business Performance
Analysers for forecast and plan. The secondary
sales and stock information will be loaded
using either web interface or FTP by each
distributor.
A Data Transformation Services (DTS)
package pulls data into SQL tables. From
here, other DTS packages transform and
structure these tables into multidimensional
cubes processed in Microsoft® SQL
Server® Analysis Services.
Out of the box, there are five main categories:
Sales, In-Transit, Forecast, Plan and
outlet sales.
The Advanced offering provides a front-end
tool (eg. Proclarity briefing books) that
enables to work with these cubes and build
simple or complex reports within each
of the categories. Using the MS SQL Reporting
Services technology, you can also access
the capabilities of In-Market Analytics
from a Web browser.
