Princeton, NJ November 16, 2010 – Intelligroup, an NTT DATA Company, focused on information technology consulting, technology, and outsourcing services today announced that it has assisted with the successful implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 software at Chegg.com.  Chegg.com is the #1 online textbook rental company giving college students access to over 4 million textbook titles from its online catalog. Working closely with Oracle and Chegg.com, Intelligroup has helped manage and execute the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 implementation including ERP evaluation & selection, blueprinting and rollout.

This business transformation initiative has streamlined Chegg.com’s finance business processes to ensure regulatory compliance by replacing QuickBooks and leveraging Oracle best practices in core Financials, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).  This highly complex project integrated the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 with Chegg.com’s online legacy textbook ordering systems, and included multiple interfaces addressing approximately three hundred business scenarios to manage millions of books, suppliers and customer records.

This successful go-live of the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 enabled Chegg.com to be flexible and agile to support its existing and future customer needs, to align with their corporate vision, and to comply with regulatory compliance requirements.
