Intelligroup
Implements DuetTM Software
to Increase Employee Productivity
Edison, NJ, USA – February
5, 2007 - IIntelligroup, Inc.
a global provider of business consulting,
technology, and outsourcing services
announced today that the company
has successfully completed the internal
implementation of Duet™ software.
Duet, a joint product from SAP and
Microsoft, allows information workers
to easily access selected business
processes in SAP® applications
and data within familiar Microsoft®
Office applications.
According to Vikram Gulati, CEO
and President of Intelligroup, “Intelligroup
has heavily invested in both SAP
and Microsoft technologies. Deploying
Duet enables Intelligroup to increase
productivity across the organization.
As a start, we have deployed Duet
to our sales team for increased
sales effectiveness, allowing our
sales team to receive reports from
SAP NetWeaver® Business Intelligence
directly to their Microsoft Inbox.
Additionally, the sales organization
will have the ability to select
desired reports making this pull
approach a useful tool to increase
sales effectiveness with up to date
information while significantly
reducing our overall training costs.”
“Deploying Duet within our
own company gives Intelligroup a
deeper understanding of how this
new product benefits customers,
and how we can better help customers
implement Duet with their human
resources and line of business applications,”
said Alok Pant, Vice President of
Global Marketing and Alliances at
Intelligroup. “Equally importantly,
this strengthens our partnership
with SAP and Microsoft making Intelligroup
a leading partner for Duet globally
and demonstrating our leadership
in Service Oriented Architecture.”
“Customer and partner response
to Duet has been overwhelmingly
positive and Intelligroup’s
deployment is a great example of
how organizations benefit from Duet.
Duet is important to the SAP customer
ecosystem and we are committed to
supporting our partners as they
use Duet to solve their customers’
specific business challenges. We
are looking forward to working with
Intelligroup on many successful
implementations of Duet for their
clients,” said Udo Waibel,
Senior Vice President, Duet at SAP.
According to Chris Caren, General
Manager, Office Business Applications
at Microsoft, “Intelligroup
and Microsoft have worked together
for many years integrating Microsoft
Office with business applications
from industry leaders like SAP.
We are very pleased with Intelligroup’s

closely with the company to bring
the benefits of Duet to many more
customers.”
