Manufacturer Selects Intelligroup
Inc. for Implementation
of SAP Transportation Management Solution

companies today announced a new contract
with a leading industrial cleaning
and equipment manufacturer to provide
ERP implementation services for SAP
Transportation Management Solution.
Intelligroup was selected based on
its in-depth knowledge of the clients’
business processes and past successes
in offering the client Logistic Solutions
and Route Methodology.
Intelligroup developed
this strategic solution using Standard
ASAP methodology and the built-in
capabilities of the SAP Transportation
Module. The project goal is to eliminate
stand-alone carrier systems and have
a single solution that integrates
the client’s existing SAP system
with third-party logistics carriers
through the implementation of XI (Exchange
Infrastructure). To meet the aggressive
timelines and provide a cost-effective
deployment, Intelligroup offers an
onsite/offshore delivery model and
the ability to provide accelerators
to complete the project within six
months.
Intelligroup provided
a comprehensive assessment of the
client’s current environment
and assisted with building a sound
business case for transportation and
freight management. At the end of
the assessment cycle the client’s
steering committee selected Intelligroup
as the right partner to implement
this enhanced functionality.
