Intelligroup Joins SAP’s Enterprise Services Community Forms Enterprise SOA Practice to leverage SAP NetWeaver® Platform to Build Services-Based Composite Applications

Edison, New Jersey, October 11, 2006 – Intelligroup Inc. a consulting, business optimization, and outsourcing company serving global corporations and the public sector, today announced that it has joined the Enterprises Services Community. The collaborative, cross-industry program initiated by SAP brings together partners and customers from diverse industries to share ideas for and innovations in enterprise services, which provide the common business language that enables disparate software applications and infrastructure products to communicate. Since customers, partners and SAP are driving the standardization of enterprise services, they enable more plug-and-play between solutions built along the lines of those definitions, significantly reducing the cost of integration. These services enable companies to compose business processes that reach across an IT system and company boundaries within an enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA).

Intelligroup also announced the formation of an Enterprise SOA Practice that will leverage the SAP NetWeaver® platform to build services that are based on composite applications. According to Naresh Nookala, SAP NetWeaver Practice Head at Intelligroup, ”Intelligroup has developed composite applications for the Chemicals and Consumer Product industries that automate specific business processes leveraging SAP exchange infrastructure (SAP XI) and integrate business partners leveraging enterprise SOA.”

”Our collaboration with SAP in the Enterprise Services space will allow us to build new composite applications that will enable flexible business processes for our customers,” said Alok Pant, Vice President of Marketing and Alliances for Intelligroup. "Intelligroup is committed to innovation and thought leadership. As a member of the SAP Enterprise Services Community, Intelligroup will continue to strengthen its relationship with SAP and contribute to the SAP partner ecosystem.”

Intelligroup will present at the upcoming SAP® TechEd 2006 in Bangalore, India. Sivaraj Doddannan will speak on enterprise SOA and how companies can leverage business maps in the ESA discovery process to build a solution map and business scenario. ”Enterprise SOA is fast becoming an essential component for most organizations as they embark on planning their future IT landscape,” said Sivaraj Doddannan, Enterprise Architect at Intelligroup. ”Our vast experience in business processes allows us to guide our customers in choosing the right approach to enterprise SOA, and gain maximum benefit from their ERP investment.”
