Intelligroup Successfully Implements Oracle® E-Business Suite for New Age Electronics


Edison, New Jersey – October 19, 2006 – Intelligroup, Inc. a global provider of business consulting, technology, and outsourcing services, announced today that they have successfully implemented the Oracle® E-Business Suite for New Age Electronics, Inc. (New Age), a leader in sales, logistics, remanufacturing and supply chain solutions for the consumer technology industry. Intelligroup was awarded this contract in April 2005, in recognition of its domain knowledge in business processes and vertical expertise.

This comprehensive suite of applications from Oracle will help enable New Age to realize quick returns on its information technology (IT) investment and provide a scalable solution as New Age continues to grow. As part of the implementation, Intelligroup and New Age worked together in developing innovative solutions for productivity improvements in such areas as receivables, credit management, order management and warehouse management for business problems which are unique to the distribution industry. In addition, complex trade promotion programs and pricing options drive the entire value chain for New Age revenue and were an essential part of the implementation. Intelligroup worked with New Age and Oracle Product Development to build a robust solution to capture vendor side accruals. The complete integrated solution with vendor side accruals and customer side accruals and returns provides the business an opportunity to do comprehensive margin analysis and improve the decision-making capabilities on programs.

Oracle Warehouse Management was integrated with the bar code system and the complete supply chain applications including inbound logistics, manufacturing systems integration, outbound logistics, material status tracking and reverse logistics. Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning enabled demand planning and supply chain planning and scheduling, leading to better forecasting, higher throughput and lower expediting, stock outs and inventory accumulations.
